Stinson Liles

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

As the Alliance’s Director of Communications, Stinson oversees strategy and implementation for the organization’s public messaging. He has 20 years of experience in brand strategy and planning, qualitative and quantitative research, integrated campaign development, and traditional, digital, and social media. 

Stinson previously served as a principal in a brand and campaign development firm he co-founded, where he helped national nonprofits and social-impact organizations develop and deploy positioning that resulted in new awareness, partnerships, policy wins, and revenue. 

His clients included the American Red Cross, College for America, The New Teacher Project, Share Our Strength, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the National Civil Rights Museum, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Stinson also worked extensively with Youth Villages in support of the organization’s national expansion of services and advocacy for youth in state custody and young adults transitioning out of foster care. From 2013 to 2015, he served as a brand advisor to the Library of Congress.

Stinson has a bachelor’s degree in English from Rhodes College.
