From preschool to home visiting, our Idaho allies are making sure the state continues to make substantial new commitments to children birth through eight.

  • Awarded $3.3 million through the Federal Preschool Development Grant (PDG) for the first time in Idaho history
  • Awarded 25 privately-funded grants to communities across Idaho to create a mixed-delivery model of local, collaborative, early-learning programs called Preschool the Idaho Way.
  • $1.6 million to expand the reach and impact of evidence-based home visiting programs.
  • Developed a Families First Prevention Services Act Primary Prevent Committee and outlined department recommendations to ensure Idaho appropriately utilizes Title IV-E Prevention Funding
