To create a powerful, diverse community that informs, accelerates, and amplifies early childhood policy allies’ effectiveness in achieving state actions necessary for each and every young child to thrive.

What We Value

Community. We know that personal and trusted relationships—between state allies, their peers, the Alliance, and national experts—create the community that accelerates advocacy.

Responsiveness. We know that the support that has the most impact is support that is tailored to the real-time challenges and opportunities on a state’s specific policy landscape.

Equity. We know the only way to ensure all children have a fair shot at success and the freedom to reach their full potential is to commit to changing the unfair systems, practices, narratives, and power structures that create unequal opportunity.

Durability: We most value change that lasts, which is why we encourage and support advocates’ work to build diverse and powerful statewide constituencies that continually demand bold action—from passage through implementation.
