What We Value

Community. We know that personal and trusted relationships—between state allies, their peers, the Alliance, and national experts—create the community that accelerates advocacy.

Responsiveness. We know that the support that has the most impact is support that is tailored to the real-time challenges and opportunities on a state’s specific policy landscape.

Equity. We know the only way we’ll achieve our vision is to collectively and authentically address the unfair systems, practices, narratives, and power imbalances that perpetuate different outcomes for different groups of families.
