Ashley Davison

MANAGER, COMMUNICATION AND CONTENT

As the Alliance’s Communications and Content Manager, Ashley supports the development and execution of strategic communications that capture and share the impact of the Alliance and its network across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. She co-develops the creation of policy-focused stories, digital content, and multi-channel communications that highlight state progress, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and reinforce the Alliance’s role in advancing early childhood policy. She guides editorial planning, website management, and social and email strategy to ensure a consistent and compelling organizational narrative.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Ashley served as Director of Marketing and Communications at the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) at Rutgers University, where she led research dissemination efforts across digital platforms and national media. In this role, she translated complex policy research into accessible content for policymakers, advocates, and funders; managed multi-channel campaigns; and developed processes to track performance and audience engagement. She has also provided strategic communications consulting for nonprofit and arts organizations, advising leadership teams on digital strategy, audience development, and brand positioning.

Ashley holds a Master of Science in Digital Communication and Media from Quinnipiac University and a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from Rutgers University–Newark.
