The True North Group helps organizations serving vulnerable populations increase their impact through targeted policy change and proactive communication strategies.

The True North Group provides strategic advice and project management to nonprofit, philanthropic, and government organizations. Its consulting projects focus on supporting advocacy coalitions in achieving improved health and well-being outcomes for infants and toddlers and school-age children, and its work for Alliance for Early Success allies centers on child welfare.

Our state allies can call on True North to:

Support their efforts to develop a deeper understanding of child welfare advocacy — both among their teams and in the broader state policy community.

True North can assist in developing resources, materials, webinars, workshops and other forums featuring key issues regarding the intersection of child welfare policy and advocacy and prevention services, early care and learning, health care and family support policies, including mental health, Part C services, and screening rates, among others.

Additional Alliance-funded support for state advocacy includes:

Working in collaboration with other national allies on advocacy strategies to promote home visiting as a prevention strategy as part of the Family First Prevention Services Act.
Assisting the Alliance for Early Success in coordination of child welfare activities with other networks.
