The Alliance for Early Success has released the 2022 50-State Progress and Landscape Report, its annual report on policy wins and trends in state early childhood policy across the country.
The report draws on our year of working with advocates in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as on a 50-state (plus DC) advocacy survey.
In the report, you’ll find trends and analysis of 2022 state policy developments in maternal and child health, early care and education, and family economic supports. There is also a look a state appropriations trends and a dive into the role of power equity in state advocacy.
There’s potential in every state to advance opportunity for young children and their families, and the Alliance is committed to supporting advocates in all 50 as they pursue these crucial supports these families need to thrive, no matter the landscape.
